We couldn’t have asked for a better day for Virginia and Robert’s special day, who by the way are the chicest couple. These two can give me styling tips any day! This Hotel X wedding was definitely something special and I was lucky to be invited by my friends at Love Forever Studio (who are also Toronto wedding photographers) to shoot this wedding with them, so big thanks to them for the invite!
Everyone knows I’m a sucker for windows, so when I got the chance to see the ceremony hall, my jaw dropped. The room was covered in glass from ground to ceiling! With all the natural light coming in I knew this would make for awesome photos. Not before long all the seats were filled and everyone glanced over as Virginia began to take her first step down the isle. It was nothing but smiles, love, and laughter in the room.
After the ceremony we head up to the rooftop for a traditional tea ceremony with the family. And let me tell you.. the rooftop had views for days! This Hotel X wedding had loads of gorgeous backdrop scenery. So we made sure to get some fun photos with the bridal party here as well. I remember the floors were so white I could barely open my eyes since it felt like I was looking straight into the sun. But on the bright side (no pun intended), the black suits made for such a cool contrast to the white floors and the photos turned out awesome.
The night went on with performances from dancers, violinists, and a special singer, Robert himself! With all the laughs, jokes, and sweet moments it would be hard to forget a day like this. So thanks Virginia and Robert, it was such an honour to shoot this wedding and I wish you both a lifetime of happiness!
